For us in Nigeria, the mission is simple; to provide an enabling platform and build technical know-how for mothers owned businesses to thrive without sacrificing family.
In the past, motherhood has meant the end of a woman’s dreams or career as the case may be, simply because many organizations do not understand the unique needs of mothers and are not set up to support or integrate women in this stage of their lives. This is why most times women exit the corporate world to try to run their own businesses only to find that this is another kettle of fish with its own challenges.
Building a new business for anybody, mother or not, is not a walk in the park and can be even more demanding than getting up the corporate career ladder.
